What is the difference between the Express path and Standard path for ID documents?

ExpressID Path

Where available this is a fully automated pathway for biometric automated identification verification.  This option allows for live scanning of three key ID documents, Australian passport, Australian driver licence and Medicare card, plus a facial liveness check.  


Using this option means that your, if your identity documents satisfy all the conditions for ExpressID, your documents can be verified instantly. 


Standard Path

An identification pathway where you are required to manually upload from a variety of ID documents and a selfie, and a manual review by a verification officer is required.
